Vacancies Available 

  • Hillcrest: 2 Medical Receptionist Positions Available 

  • Gateway: 1 Medical Receptionist Position Available  

  • Orientation Date: March 26, 2024 

  • Shift Start Date: April 1, 2024 

  • Pay Rate: R70 per hour 

Schedule and Location Insights 

  • Hillcrest: known for its bustling environment, the Hillcrest medical receptionists will adopt 4 days on, 4 days off work model, covering shifts from 7am to 7pm, including weekends and public holidays. Note: Payment is strictly for hours worked. 

  • Gateway: offers a slightly less hectic pace, requiring dedicated focus and professionalism. 

Daily Responsibilities 

Our Medical Receptionists play a crucial role in providing a compassionate and efficient service to our patients and their families. 

Daily tasks include: 

  • Engaging in professional interactions with patients and their families 

  • Opening patient files and accurately capturing patient statistics 

  • Collecting payments and capturing medical aid details 

  • Processing medical aid claims through our billing company 

  • Managing doctor rosters and ensuring seamless daily operations 

  • Executing other reasonable receptionist duties as required 

Candidate Requirements 

  • Experience: 2-3 years as a medical receptionist 

Skills: 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills 

  • Attention to detail and meticulous work ethic 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and general computer literacy
